Snapshot - Where To Berbuka?...

Salam riders...some of you may have read from my profile that i'm a sucker for GOOD food kan...so i've been testing the ramadhan buffet here and there for the past 9 days...i have to say that the price per head for a buffet dinner during ramadhan is really getting ridiculous...

Most hotels are charging well above RM100 and the highest i've heard so far is the hotel opposite Hard Rock Cafe which is charging something like RM190++...holly crap!!!...thats what i said when i heard someone mention the price to me....

Biak pi lah depa nak charge mahai lagu mana pun...i still prefer (and highly recommend) Restoran Putri in Sg Penchala...nice buffet spread at only RM45nett...yes RM45nett!!!...believe you me...the food is good and you will be spoilt for choice...yes yes thats where i nikah wifee too...

Me heading to Star Media Hub (The Star's printing plant) in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam for berbuka today...today is also The Star's 37th Anniversary...Selamat berbuka...

Hello Mr. EE,

erkk.. drooling over japanese food.. but u make sure ur wife eat no shashimi and raw meat thru out her pregnancy yeah? If I am not mistaken there is some parasite or bacteria that can cause harm to the foetus.. Not to the mom though.. But I can't be sure.. dah lama tak pregnant so no more reading on those issues.. hehehe.. u can do some browsing on this or ask any gynae+obstet to be sure..

kesian emran's wifee.. x dapat mamam shashimi.. but she can enjoy shushi though..

selamat menjalani ibadah puasa di bulan ramadhan

My husband and I have this "tradition" since during our dating days to break our iftar at the "Hartz Chicken" either at Sunway Pyramid or Times Square. It's a chicken-based food buffet costs less than RM20 per pax. The food is not bad.

10 years ago, Nelayan Titiwangsa used to have a marvellous buka puasa steamboat buffet, but since a few years back, the quality has been "deterioriating (sp?)" .. so I stopped going there altogether. Then I found this Korean Steamboat buffet at Wisma Pantai (next to TM Rebung Tower) and also Johnny Steamboat, which I find both are not bad at all.

Hotels? Nah.. stopped going there unless there's corporate invitation. The price is wayyyyyyyyyy too expensive and not worth it (with all the queues and kiasu people..)

Assalamualaikum

Yes, Kak Mint pun memang suka pi makan kat Restoran Puteri because not so far from my office at DU. Kekadang tu terserempak juga dengan Kak Chah and Kak Rubi and I always tell them how much I love their buffet spread. Yang hotels tu, memang usah cakap le, their price is really bombastic and borders on being ridiculous, melampau betul harganya.

Anyway, selamat meneruskan ibadah puasa and kirim salam pada Erra. How is she? Hope all is well with her and the baby.

Hi Mr EE, here's some useful info which I have read previously as guidelines for wifee:

Please avoid eating fish that is high in mercury eg: tuna and salmon during pregnancy,

Skip the sushi until baby is born,

Avoid taking caffeine in high amount or rather skip it during pregnancy.

hahaha do I sound like mother hen?? Anyway, selamat berbuka to u and princess, k. adious
