Orang Nak Cari Rezeki La!!!!....Part 2 - Dear Munirah...

Hi Munirah...i respect ur opinion and agree with u on sum parts...however UGLY street protest is not our culture(i'm for 1 a very vocal person when expressing my views and believe every1 has a right to say sumthing)...

Look at how fragile London n NY are (the cities you quoated in ur comment in my previous posting)...in those 2 cities alone everyday ada bomb scare...only certain human rights issues have been successfully upheld thru street protest...but they are mostly done with good intentions and most importantly in peace (the successful ones that is)...

But then again what can be applied in other parts of the world may not be suitable for msia...simply coz our mentality is far different from them (not suggesting we are backwards but we were brought up differently as a society)...there are safer isolated places like the stadium where they can make themselves heard...

Tapi yang i kesian sangat2 3 of my close friends (n many other traders in jln TAR i believe) were frantically calling me on saturday to do something as they know i work in Suria...they wanted me to use my radio to tell those irresposible people off sebab they were damaging their periuk nasi...cuba u all bayang kan kalau periuk nasi u all terjejas...mesti u all marah jugak kan...

Anyway...this and my previous posting doesn't represent my political stand (coz its so not BML)...i just want to live in a peaceful country so that i can build a brighter future for my daughter...

Concert Search giler BEST siol!!!!....stay Between My Legs (hehe) for exclusive and rocking pictures....

The protest turned "ugly" because the police started using water canons, tear gas and batons.
I agree fully with Munirah. We are backwards and the govt wants us to stay that way.Look at the Filipinos, the Indonesians, the Thai... they really have something in between their legs!
EE dont be selfish, ISA is an unjust law and everybody should be made aware of that.

Street protests in other countries cannot be compared to those done here. Over here, some younger people have no inkling on what's going on. They're either being paid to protest or just following the crowd blindly. Sad to say, that's the kind of attitude these people have.

yeah setuju. demonstrasi jalanan lebih menyusahkan dan banyak keburukan berbanding kebaikan. lagipun negara kita aman, bukannya kena tindas pun.

ada pic dgn search eh...

Hi Iman...betul tu apa yg u cakap...like ive said i agree with munirah in sum parts...but at the end of the day the objective was still not met...so its best keep it at the stadium where the voices can still be heard and most importantly...Karim, Abg Lan n Saiful can work to support their family...

satu hari je pun periuk nasi terjejas..camne ngan tahanan2 ISA yg di tahan bertahun2 tanpa perbicaraan..? camne ngn family dorg yg taktau tahanan tu idup ke mati..? fikirlah..dorg bukan saje2 nak protes..infact..polis msia yg buat kacau..mereka2 yg protes ni just berarak n bwk sepanduk etc etc..dorg ada ke bwk senjata sume? takde kan..? kalau dorg mintak permission utk buat demo secare aman..u think government bagi ke? mereka2 yg protes cuma mahu suara mereka didengari.. as simple as that bro!

memang la, orang boleh cakap kalau tak pernah join protes, jangan nak komen lebih2.

tapi aku mintak korang fikir satu benda je. tak ke berdosa bila kita dah menganiaya peniaga2 kat area tu? kita kena ingat, tak semua orang perfahaman serupa. aku jamin, dlm banyak yang affected (biz) mesti ada sorang yang tak peduli langsung pasal politik. so tak ke zalim tu buat derang camtu?

ingatla. bila buat benda yang mendatangkan keburukan, dosa hukumnya.kalau dah dosa, haram utk kita sebagai umat islam mengikutinya.

but obviously, apa kira orang2 ni pasal dosa kan? janji sendiri puas hati.macam sial.

kalau dah namanya bantahan dan tunjuk protes...nape mesti buat dlm stadium...mestila ditunjukkan pada org awam bantahan tu...nak kan simpati masyarakat luar..ni sume x dpt tunjuk dlm stadium...permintaan utk adakan pertemuan dgn Pm dan agong ditolak..jd terpaksa laa pilih jln ni

Dear EE,

Thank you for your kind attention to my comment :) I fully appreciate the point you are raising here -that the rally had inconvenienced (ni perkataan yg sgt understatement i guess)a lot of people - businesses have been affected etc. Not to mention the thousands of cars caught in the massive jam.

I don't mean to be rude, just that i really think without the Police& FRU's overzealous caution - the protesters can do what they wanted to do & go home quickly- they only wanted to pass a memo to the King. Stadium rallies don't work - it's like asking people with opinions to hold placards inside their house - the whole point is to let people who are unaware of the issue to hear them..

Sometimes in our comfortable lives, we don't listen to the cries of the families who lost their husband/father/son to ISA detentions - they had to shout it this way & we can still be angry at them - well, i am not saying everyone should be an angel & or a model citizen. This is a fact of life- semua org pun ada periuk nasi sdiri.
the families with their dads in detention (tak bicara kat mahkamah pun, tak tau salah apa2?) also lost their 'periuk nasi' for years - bukan periuk nasi saja tapi periuk hati kot, their loss is not something you can put in ringgit or cents. Yes satu hari sabtu lepas byk org rasa susah - i know there's a PC fair kat KL conv. centre hari tu - tapi byk org juga yg dah bertahun2 menderita - kerana ISA.

lastly, (sorry komen panjang sgt) - maybe our country dah semakin berubah - maklumlah the contents of media like radio,tv, films etc byk condong ke arah barat -so maybe orang2 kita pun dah tak berfikir macam dulu lagi, they are more exposed now (which is to our benefit or the opposite? still can be debated he he)

thanks, all the best

Salam,

for me la kan I.S.A is important expecially to country that have berbilang kaum and bangsa...however some part of it need to be change...antara nyer tiada perbicaraan....

however, in order to solve it bukan ngan cara DEMONSTRASI JALANAN....yea some say even western people done dat...but da fact is dat...ader kee western people wat rusuhan tanpa permit, and buat kat tempat crowded people...they behave biler wat demonstration....

Mr.E keep on posting and give ur opinion....chow~

Anonymous said...

Dear munirah sila bagi alamat supaya semua peniaga yg tak dapat berniaga hari tu boleh pergi rumah kamu tuntut kerugian mereka yg SATU hari itu.. terima kasih
