My mother Salmah NEVER fails to give me her best in what ever she does...not just for me but for my 2 other siblings too...Kak Su and Adam...we come from a humble family not rich not poor...mummy NEVER once put herself before anyone of us including daddy...letting us have the last piece of her favourite cake in the fridge - kinda love all the time...if you know what i mean...she has gone thru alot in her life and i can assure you that all my siblings truly feel deeply for her...hence we would do anything to make her happy...Nway what reminded me of mummy at 10:30 am just now, was what is written in Berita Harian today (nasional pg 20)...to say that i understand what/how Pn. Suraya Ahmad and her whole family is feeling is an outright insult...simply because the pain must be unbelievable...Ibu Suraya is adik Sharlinie's mother...you see...WE at Suria make it point to still remind the public EVERYDAY about adik since the day she went missing until today...and WE will not cease doing so until she is found...simply because WE don't want the public to forget about adik...i must say that im close to tears while writting this very sentence...WE at Suria are running out of ideas of how WE can do more for adik...WE have done a solat hajat for adik soon after i came back from my honeymoon last February...PLEASE tell me what else WE can do together...
My prayers are with you adik...

hmm..just nak tanya yg u ade cousin name Engku Nazri ke? dia lecturer UUM..coz Engku Nazri was one of my lecturer dulu in UUM..
ok laa..all the best!
WE can help the family too in dealing with the suffering. They too need our help & attention.
we keep pray n pray for adik sharlinie..and give lot of supports to her family...
Emran,
There are several degrees of emotions that humans have to deal with when it comes to coping with crisis : anger, sadness, guilt, blame and ultimately, healing and acceptance.
Sometimes, we need to remember that there are things that we can do to help, but when there are no more options, just remember that God is with us.
It's important to understand that when things happen kepada hamba-Nya, it's a test of their faith. There's only so much we can do, and perhaps, at this point, just have faith that Sharlinie is within Allah's grace.
Perhaps this is the time for healing and acceptance. All we can do now, is to help her family the best we can.

There is merit to what "Anonymous" (Votre Ami 4:12pm) wrote.
At first glance, it might be seen by some as a "defeatist attitude". However, when you consider the healing and acceptance part as he had mentioned, perhaps it is worthy of serious consideration...?
On the other hand, what SuriaFM is doing might be a good thing too. With Sharlinie in particular, who is to say that she'll never ever be found?
I'm sure some of you must have read about missing children who were found years later. Never mind if the chances and odds appear to be very small - Always remember that there is Allah, the All-Mighty.
There are also other positive side-effects that come through these reminders by SuriaFM.
For one thing, people have short memories. After a while, they lose their guard and become less protective and watchful of their own and neighbours' kids. Being reminded by the radio of Sharlinie should help a bit with this.
"Accept-to-heal" or "Keep on searching" ... this is the mother's (and father's) choice ... it's their decision to make. As you had mentioned, not one of us here can pretend to know what they actually feel inside; if we had never undergone a similar ordeal.
Yes! i also feel sad and angry at the same time. just hope and pray for sharlinie selamat.
So menjadi tanggungjawab semua untuk sama - sama membantu.
p/s; Apapun terima kasih Suriafm kerana terus menerus hingga kini memberitahu kepada pendengar tentang kehilangan adik Sharlinie ini.Apa kata sempena menyambut Ramadhan akan datang buat lagi solat hajat dan bacaan yassin macam hari tu?? Insya - allah mudah - mudahan ada petunjuk insya - allah.
